CHHS Senior Michael Adamo Leads Service Project to Help Hurricane Harvey Victims image CHHS Senior Michael Adamo Leads Service Project to Help Hurricane Harvey Victims

Michael Adamo, a Senior at Cuyahoga Heights High School, led a recent service project which involved sending 100 donated t-shirts to the University of Houston to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. The service project was prompted by a letter from University of Houston Men’s Basketball Coach Kelvin Sampson to Cuyahoga Heights Boys Basketball Coach Matt Streicher, detailing the devastation caused by the storm, as well as opportunities to help those affected. A point guard for the Boys Varsity Basketball team, Michael took the lead by helping to organize, package and ship 100 extra basketball program t-shirts, along with a letter on behalf of the entire team to Coach Sampson at the University of Houston. The Cuyahoga Heights Schools salute Michael Adamo for his leadership and act of service on behalf of those in need.
