Junior Swimmer, Billy Mareda, took 14th place in the Division II State Swimming Championships in the breaststroke at Canton McKinley High School last Friday. Congratulations Billy!

The wrestling team took second place at Sectionals! The following wrestler's have advanced to Districts which will be held Friday, February 22nd at 4:00pm and Saturday, February 23rd at 10:00am at Garfield Heights High School.

Congratulations to Brandon Rosolowski who is headed to the State Championship Diving Meet on Wednesday, February 20th at 2:00pm. Brandon is currently ranked 3rd in the state! Billy Mareda who is ranked 13th in the state will be swimming in the State Championships on Thursday, February 21st at 5:00pm. Both events will be held at the Canton McKinley High School.

First Tee Scholars Program
The First Tee Scholars Program is a distinction awarded to
participants who excel in academics, leaderhsip, character development, and chapter and community involvement. Cuyahoga Heights High School Seniors, Jimmy Schafer and Matthew Vitanza were 2 of 101 students that were designated to the First Tee Class of 2013. Ten of these scholars were awarded Named scholarships. Named Scholarships are funds received either in honor or memory of someone, or have been donated by individuals or corporations. One of students awarded this distinction was Jimmy Schafer. Jimmy will be going to Nashville in March. Congratulations Jimmy!
CLEVELAND BROWN'S GAME OF THE WEEK WINNERS!!
The game of the week was Friday October 19th vs. Independence. The Redskins won and the team was presented with a check for $4,000.00 for the football program!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS REDSKINS!!!!!!!

What Jenna did last week: In a 50-41 win over Kirtland, point guard had 29 points, 17 rebounds, three steals, one block and three assists. In a 53-35 win over Richmond Heights, tallied 25 points, seven rebounds, two steals, six blocks and five assists.
About Jenna: Also plays soccer and softball. Hopes to play college basketball. Favorites include Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant, "Stick It" movie, "Pretty Little Liars" TV show, Outback Steakhouse restaurant and math class. Best memory was watching Cuyahoga Heights' baseball team in the state final last spring.
