Class Description:
AP Psychology is a challenging course that is meant to be the equivalent of a freshman college course and can earn students college credit. Solid reading and writing skills, along with a willingness to devote considerable time to homework and study, are necessary to succeed. Emphasis is placed on critical and evaluative thinking skills, essay writing, and interpretation of Psychological studies. Expect to learn more information and at a quicker pace than a typical high-school course. You will be learning skills in this class that will not only help you in May but will better prepare you for college and life. You must also be prepared to change the way you have been taught to think and write so far in your academic career.
