Class Description:
This class is designed to give the students a comprehensive overview of the history, development, and continued evolution of the United States. We will be covering events from the pre-colonial era up to present day. Students will be using and exposed to a wide range of technology, debate/discussion, lectures, note taking, cooperative learning, writing, music, and movies to help them gain a full understanding of American History. The goal of this class is to not only teach students American History, but to teach them to think, prepare, and write in a way that will help to be successful in other aspects of their lives as well as the classroom.
