Girls on the Run Group Participates in 5K

Girls on the Run inspires girls to be healthy, joyful, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Our students participated in not only the curriculum, but also practiced running two days a week throughout the fall. They also did a community service project before running in the Greater Summit 2014 5K Challenge. 2015-16 & 2016-17 Calendar Input

Parents and Community Members,

We are now in the process of developing our calendars for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 school years. While they are designed to be very similar to our past calendars, you may provide input at our December 17, 2014 Board of Education meeting during the "Comments from the Public" section at the beginning of our meeting. The Board of Education will vote to adopt the calendars at the January 21, 2015 Board of Education meeting.

Thank you,

Joe Bergant

Superintendent

2013-14 State Report Card Released

The report card your child brings home should give you a good idea of how your son or daughter is doing in school.  The Ohio Department of Education released the new Ohio School Report Card last week.  The Cuyahoga Heights Schools ranked 58th in the State out of 881 public school districts, charter schools, and academies.  We are in the top 7% of all school districts in Ohio. Congratulations to our high performing students and our excellent teaching and support staff.  Throughout the 2014-15 school year, we will continue to provide you with further information on the school district evaluation system so you will have a better understanding of what it means.   View the results of our school district HERE.
