On Friday, August 28th at noon, the following inductees will be proudly inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame: Rebecca Cash '04, Niki Csak '03, Dennis Michael Knize '80, Melissa Kostel '01, Jason Schreiber '03, Mitchell M. Fall Sports Photos for Middle School and High School Athletes

The middle school and high school fall sports photos will be taken on Tuesday, August 18th from 12:00-4:30pm. Photo order forms will be given to all fall athletes by their coaches towards the beginning of August to take home with them.
Joe LaBella 2-on-2 Basketball Challenge Money Raised for Scholarship Fund

The Joe LaBella 2-on-2 Basketball Challenge was held on Thursday, July 16th in order to raise money for the Joe LaBella Scholarship Fund. Through the Basketball Challenge that consisted of three participating age groups - 7th and 8th grades, 9th and 10th grades and the open division - they were able to raise $280 to put toward the scholarship fund!

During the school year, 30 million children in the U.S. receive lunch through USDA’s National School Lunch Program. Of these, 21.4 million children receive their lunch at a reduced-priced or at no charge. Yet when school lets out for the summer, only 3.8 million children participate in the summer meal programs.

Girls on the Run Group Participates in 5K

Girls on the Run inspires girls to be healthy, joyful, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Our students participated in not only the curriculum, but also practiced running two days a week throughout the fall. They also did a community service project before running in the Greater Summit 2014 5K Challenge. A special thank you to Mrs. Satterlee, Mrs. Cameron, Mrs. Harvan, and Mrs. Wallace for leading the Girls on the Run program this year!

2013-14 State Report Card Released

The report card your child brings home should give you a good idea of how your son or daughter is doing in school. The Ohio Department of Education released the new Ohio School Report Card last week. The Cuyahoga Heights Schools ranked 58th in the State out of 881 public school districts, charter schools, and academies. We are in the top 7% of all school districts in Ohio. Congratulations to our high performing students and our excellent teaching and support staff. Throughout the 2014-15 school year, we will continue to provide you with further information on the school district evaluation system so you will have a better understanding of what it means. Paper Recycling at Cuyahoga Heights has Changed!
Our paper recycler will now be River Valley Recycling. Their green bins are in the same location as the former recyclers, and have the sun and flower logo on them. We will now accept FLATTENED cardboard and books. Click here to view the entire list of acceptable items.
